Today I’m dropping a refreshed version of The Ministry of Memes.
This one’s a sharp, satirical pop track about governments treating memes, jokes, and wrongthink as serious crimes — the kind of authoritarian clown world we’ve watched unfold, especially in the UK where people have been arrested for tweets, emojis, and edgy shitposts.
New on this version:
A full brass section that brings extra swagger and punch to the choruses
My own vocals front and center
Dedicated to The Glinner Update’s Graham Linehan — a man who’s been relentlessly hounded for saying what so many were too scared to say.
This update tightens everything up and lets the brass really drive the satire home. It’s catchy, pissed off, and unapologetic — exactly how it should be.
Drop it when it lands, turn it up, and let me know what you think (especially the brass and how the dedication feels).
More music on the way.
