The "No True Scotsman" Fallacy In The Transgender Community
It’s called the No True Scotsman fallacy.
Whenever a trans person (usually a transwoman) is arrested, tried and subsequently convicted of a particularly heinous crime (such as sexually assaulting a child) the trans community, without fail, quickly disavows the trans person in question.
Because to affirm that individual’s transgender status within the community at large is to also affirm that the trans community is sick with rapists, child molestors, sex offenders, murderers and the like.
Trans Rights Activists are quick to embrace anyone who identifies as transgender but the moment their crimes are made public they’re shunned just as quickly, often telling the world that these people were never really transgender to begin with.
Which, of course, got me thinking on the way home from the office this morning:
Who decides?
Really, who among the transgender community is empowered to yank someone’s trans card?
Doesn’t everybody get to be trans if they say they are or are there actually some instances the trans community doesn’t want a certain individual among their ranks?
Because, really, I’d like to know.
Is there some kind of Trans Court where the privilege to be trans can be revoked at any time?
And if your transness is revoked, is there an Trans Appellate Court where you are allowed an official review by a panel of trans people?
One imagines who would sit on the bench of this appellate court. One also imagines a courtroom with three judges, the likes of Charlotte Clymer, Jeffrey Marsh and Jessica Yaniv.
And if the appeals process doesn’t work out in your favor, do you then get to argue your case before the United States Trans Supreme Court and can you imagine the nine who would sit on it?
Four words: Chief Justice Lia Thomas.
You would think that the transgender community would be up in arms about people like that having infiltrated their ranks. You would think that the transgender community would take a cue from the gay rights movement when pedophiles tried to infiltrate theirs and were quickly run out and you would think that the time has come (and passed) for the transgender community to put foot to ass and clean house to rid their community of the dregs that have infested it.
You’d think that, wouldn’t you?
They’ll let anybody be trans these days and that’s mostly the problem.

When arrested on 17 June 2021, John Goodier was found to be in possession of a pen drive containing the lewd images depicting him with a dog, as well as 3.5g of cocaine.
Mr. Goodier confessed to possession of the material. He said he had fantasies about it for a number of years before finally discussing it with fellow Northwichers, who put him in touch with some Bournemouthers. During a 285-km (177 miles) trip to Bournemouth between 15 and 16 December 2018, Mr. Goodier engaged in lewd group acts with several individuals and a dog while the participants were high on cocaine.
In 2005, Goodier was convicted for causing or inciting a child aged 13 to 17 years to prostitution or pornography. He was also charged with seven counts of taking indecent photographs of children.
Goodier was again charged with possession of indecent photographs of children in 2009. Both crimes were given suspended sentences.
Or even this guy.
This is Richard Fenton.
In 2020, Richard here was on social media talking to someone he presumed was a 12-year old girl and precisely because he thought he was talking to a 12-year old girl he tried to incite her into sexual activity by sending dick pics, demanded she send him nudes and to have sex with another child half her age.
In reality, Richard was talking to an online vigilante group who specialize in uncovering adult sexual predators and, because of the vile nature of the conversation Richard was having with this fake profile of a 12 year old girl, the police in the area were alerted that they had a nonce in the neighborhood.
Mr. Fenton was arrested and charged with arranging a sexual offense with a child - and he also had some weed on him.
What is even more incredible is while he was engaging in a conversation with what he believed was a 12-year old girl Fenton was also concurrently carrying on another conversation with yet another 12-year old girl who he tried to engage in a conversation of a sexual nature even after Fenton was informed the “girl” he was talking to told him her age.
Predictably - and predictably stupid - Mr. Fenton made bail and then violated the terms of his release by contacting yet a third 13 year old girl whom he, once again, sent dick pics, demanded she send nudes and tried to get her to meet him somewhere.
Fenton would subsequently be arrested and charged with 21 credible child sexual abuse offenses.
Electronic devices recovered from Mr. Fenton under forensic examination found multiple indecent images of children, including a large number of child sexual abuse images and images of young children, removing any doubt that Richard Fenton was a serial pedophile.
And this would have been the end of it: the evidence is not in controversy, they have this nonce dead to rights and Mr. Fenton plead guilty to 21 counts and, just as they were about to sentence him to 10 years in April 2022…now he’s found his true gender identity.
Richard is now Rachel, or at least he’s in the process of becoming.
I have been saying this since forever: when anyone can be trans then everybody gets to be trans and that includes people you wouldn’t be caught dead at a proper Saturday night shit fight with.
As for consensus on who gets kicked out of the clubhouse, I don't think that needs any leadership. That consensus appears to be spontaneous. Like schools of fish that all turn at the same moment in a flash of silver scales. The SJWs send out encyclicals of anathematized words, lists that everyone dutifully adopts without argument. They have some central authority for that.
The "trans" don't need that. They all adopt the same neologisms at the same moment, all the same attitudes, all the same absurdities. Just like MAGA. Maybe it's pheromones, but their consensus is that of a hive. Everyone agrees that others who don't agreee to their every demand and attitude are committing genocide.
It's shocking how many buy into this garbage. But at least the opposition is growing. Six months ago even the most well-informed people I knew were saying that there has never been transition surgery on a minor. They're not saying that anymore.
Much though I agree with the substance of this article, I feel obliged to point out that "who decides" or any variation thereon is a lost argument, a concession of having nothing to bring to bear.
Because merely pointing out the potential for subjectivity is supposed to deflect the debate into shallow waters. I get it all the time saying there should be limits on wealth concentration; even people who believe in spirit get the spins on how the limit should be set. As if we couldn't figure that out.
Anyway.
Right now the law is progressively replacing biological sex with the scientifically inane "gender identity." It's going to be risky, but we need to push back on this, and be adamant in telling people that they are the sex they were born as, period, however they dress, whatever pronouns they use.
Not risk for me, though, we don't have that shit here.
