So here I am permanently suspended from Twitter and you'd think someone like David Paisley could be half-assed to care about a guy like me who is permanently suspended from Twitter and can't talk back to them in any way, right?
Well, in the spirit of You Can Never Be Too Careful...
This just goes to show just how paranoid David Paisley really is that he would block someone who has no way of talking to him on Twitter.
But then this is the same David Paisley who called the cops on Marion Millar for tweeting a picture of a suffragette ribbon tied to a fence that he called a noose.
This is also the same David Paisley who called the police on Ceri Black, a lesbian, because she tweeted about how we should all do a better job protecting children from men like David Paisley who want to normalize whipping their dicks out in front of them.
The police asked Ceri to go for interview, under caution, to answer charges of malicious communications, misuse of electronic communications, homophobia, transphobia, and harassment.
For our friends in the US, a police caution is a formal alternative to prosecution in minor cases, administered by the police in the UK. It is commonly used to resolve cases where full prosecution is not seen as the most appropriate solution.
Accepting a caution requires an admission of guilt.
Ceri told the police if they wanted to talk to her, they would have to come and arrest her. The police tried to negotiate her coming in on a voluntary basis, but she politely declined.
Then the police offered to arrest Ceri at her own convenience, making sure she wasn’t cuffed or manhandled, and that she didn’t spend too long at the station.
The good news is that the police have now informed Ceri’s solicitor that they will not arrest her.
The bad news is that they are sending the complaint directly to the Public Prosecution Service of Northern Ireland. This is the next step towards laying charges against Ceri.
David Paisley should familiarize himself with the concept of murum aries attigit, a Latin phrase for “the ram has touched the wall”.
When the Romans would march on a city they were going to conquer they would give the inhabitants of it a choice: surrender and you will be given favorable terms or when that ram touches the wall you will be shown no mercy.
This is a legal strategy I have employed any time somebody comes at me with a bullshit case like Paisley; I will give you a chance to drop this ridiculous suit or charge but if you insist on going through with it, well...
Ceri Black and Marion Millar should consider the ram having touched the wall when they bring their complaints of Paisley’s vexatious behavior and show Paisley no mercy before the courts.
