Women's rights have always been up for grabs. We can never ever feel safe with our own bodily autonomy. Even in extreme situations like miscarriage, women have been sent to prison when their body determines the fetus isn't viable and expels it. It happens totally out of control of the mother - no matter how much she may want that child. Her punishment is to be incarcerated. Men cannot fathom how horrific this is for women. It's unbelievable and surreal.
